Tyngsborough Trot 5K Run or Walk for Education

½ mile Fun Run begins at 10:00 a.m. (for kids under 12)
5K Road Race begins promptly at 10:30 a.m.(rain or shine) with walkers just behind the runners.
LOCATION
Tyngsborough Elementary School parking lot. 205 Westford Rd., Tyngsborough, MA, 01879
REGISTRATION
Pre-register by using downloadable form or on the web at www.coolrunning.com.
Race day registration is from 8:45 – 9:45 a.m. (cash or check only).
Your assigned bib number must be worn throughout the entire race.
WANT TO RUN FOR FREE?
Simply raise raise $50 in sponsors and your enty fee is waived. Raise the most money, and win a $50 gift certificate to Sports Authority.
TIMING SERVICES
Professional timing services by Yankee Timing.
RACE
The USATF 5K course starts and ends at Tyngsborough Elementary School parking lot.
The course is “out and back style” along quiet suburban roads.
AWARDS
Cash prizes will go to the overall top 3 males and females as follows:
1st place $100.00, 2nd place $75.00, 3rd place $50.00. The overall 1st place winners will also
receive New Balance gift certificates.
In addition, medal awards will be given to the top 3 male and female 5K Run
participants in each of the following age categories: 13 or younger, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39,
40-49, and 50 or older. A “participation ribbon” will be given to all children in the Fun Run.
